“It’s an honour to represent STARS on a stage like the Air Medical Transport Conference. It’s a testament to the education and training they provide to us that allows us to give us high quality care to our patients. We feel extremely well supported from all our colleagues.”

“Being a mechanic at STARS, is probably one of the first jobs in Aviation I had where you do feel like you’re actually helping people. When the machine goes out and every time it goes out it’s going out to help people. When we do get the chance to meet VIPs and hear their stories, it does make you proud to be a team member.”

“I’ve stayed at STARS because they’ve accommodated my life and allowed me to be a part of so many different projects. After 23 years, I still love answering the phone and being a part of this mission — it’s the variety and the impact that keeps me here.”

“I have the best job at STARS because I get to complete the circle — our patients see us on the worst day of their lives, but I get to witness them on the best day, when they come back to meet their crew and show their gratitude. It’s a powerful reminder of the real, tangible impact of our work, and it keeps the mission alive for all of us.”
