Report a scam call or email
Protect yourself from lottery prize scam calls! You will never be asked to send money to claim a charity lottery prize. Official prize winner lists are posted to our website or call our toll-free number for assistance.
If you have received one of these scam calls, please hang up, record the number calling, then advise your local police department and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1−888−495−8501, or visit their website. There is no need to report the scam call or email to STARS.

I was flown and want to meet my crew
We appreciate hearing from our Very Important Patients (VIPs) and their families. Often, we hear from patients shortly after their mission. Other times, people wait years before they are ready to speak about their mission with us. Either way, we feel privileged to hear from you.
If you would like to meet your crew or if you’re interested in sharing your experience as a STARS patient, feel free to complete the care to share form below, or contact us at vip@stars.ca.

Land acknowledgement
We acknowledge that our STARS bases are located on the traditional territories of many Indigenous Nations, including Treaty 7 (Calgary), Treaty 6 (Edmonton and Saskatoon), Treaty 8 (Grande Prairie), Treaty 4 (Regina), and Treaty 1 (Winnipeg). We recognize and honour that our operations extend across the lands now known as Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, which are home to diverse First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
We are committed to fostering reconciliation, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work. We extend our gratitude to the Indigenous peoples who have cared for and stewarded these lands for generations and are dedicated to building meaningful partnerships as part of our mission to serve all who need us.
