Community Education Program

The STARS Community Education Program provides specialized critical care education for allied healthcare professionals through immersive in situ simulation training and focused specialty courses. Our programs include advanced training in mechanical ventilation, airway management, trauma care, circulation and shock management, and are designed to enhance clinical competence, confidence, and readiness in high-acuity environments.

Participants have the opportunity to develop and refine critical care skills in realistic, practice-based settings that promote effective clinical decision-making. Using a blended educational approach, training incorporates interactive lectures, hands-on skill stations, and scenario-based simulation experiences tailored to the needs of frontline healthcare teams.

Education sessions can be delivered directly within the learner’s working environment -  including hospitals, ambulances, and community settings or hosted at one of our STARS bases. This flexible approach ensures training remains practical, relevant, and aligned with real-world operational challenges.

Simulation experiences utilize a variety of advanced training technologies and equipment, including iSimulate systems, high- and low-fidelity mannequins, and task trainers. All programs are delivered within a psychologically safe and supportive learning environment that fosters teamwork, critical thinking, professional growth, and clinical excellence.
