Chad Rogers

Smiling person in light blue button-up shirt standing in front of red vehicle with "STARS" text visible in background

When Chad was run over by a tractor and 907-kg baler, the closest hospital didn’t have the specialized tools needed to save his life. And because he was working in a rural location, time wasn’t on his side either.

Luckily, STARS was available and stocked with blood on board to replenish the blood he was losing.

“Since my accident I have often asked myself what we did in critical emergency medical situations before we had STARS, and the only answer I can come up with is that people died, or did not get a chance at the recovery that I had.”

Chad is one of STARS’ most dedicated allies, reminding our supporters that we can’t do our work without your support.
