Lucky STARS 50/50 kicks off to raise essential funds for critical care missions across Manitoba

WINNIPEG, Aug. 12, 2026 – Manitoba Lucky STARS 50/50 tickets are officially live. From now until Oct. 14, we all win when Manitobans enter for a chance to win while supporting STARS in providing emergency critical care and transport to the next patient in need. 

With STARS Manitoba relying on community support for 30% of their annual funding, contributions from Lucky STARS 50/50 ticket sales directly support STARS’ mission, helping ensure patients receive the care they need when the unexpected happens.

Your generosity helps make lifesaving care possible, supporting everything from our aircraft and operations to the highly skilled crews who respond when every second counts. Since aiding the Manitoba flood response efforts in 2009 and officially establishing the organization in the province in 2012, STARS has flown nearly 11,000 missions across the region, including 1,181 missions last year alone. Each mission represents a life that has been impacted by STARS. When you buy a STARS lottery ticket, you help fuel STARS’ operations and help the lives of those in need. 

Lucky STARS 50/50 tickets are now available for purchase, with tickets going for as little as two for $10. If you buy tickets before Sept. 16, your ticket is automatically entered to win the Early Bird prize: A spa package for 4 at Thermea Spa Village Winnipeg – valued at over $2,000.
