We are thrilled to share that a number of outstanding STARS employees recently received the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, including our president and CEO.

The recipients were recognized for their significant contributions to their home provinces.

I am very proud to receive this award, but I am even more honoured to share it with every single person on the outstanding team at STARS,” said Andrea Robertson, STARS president and CEO.

It is only by working together that the contributions recognized by this award are made possible.” Robertson extended congratulations to the other recipients for representing themselves and STARS so well in the community.

We are very proud to have you at STARS and happy to see that the important and inspiring work you do doesn’t go unseen,” she said.

The new commemorative medal was created to mark the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada and was part of the Platinum Jubilee year celebrations.
