STARS auctioning off Best Seats in the Calgary Stampede Parade
June 17, 2013
Calgary, AB, June 14, 2013 – To raise funds to help critically ill and injured patients around the province, STARS is auctioning off a special Best Seats in the Calgary Stampede Parade prize package that includes two seats on an antique trolley as part of the parade. The auction begins at 9 a.m., June 17 and ends at 9 a.m., June 24.
Included in the prize package are two tickets for the following:
• Pre-parade stampede barbeque at Fort Calgary on Thursday, July 5 for the ticket holders, their family and friends. Barbeque includes food, entertainment and a white-hatting ceremony from Tourism Calgary.
• Early pancake breakfast at Fort Calgary on parade day, July 6.
• Antique trolley ride in the Calgary Stampede Parade.
• Two tickets for Friday afternoon’s rodeo or that evening’s chuck wagon/grandstand show.
To bid, participants can call STARS at 403-516-4822 or email rbarclay@stars.ca with you bid. The highest bidder by the auction end will win the two-ticket package. A set reserve price must be reached.
