February 4, 2013
Alberta. Feb 4, 2013 – STARS air ambulance celebrated more than $800,000 in cumulative contributions from Trinidad Drilling Ltd. today at the STARS Calgary base. As part of the celebration, Trinidad Drilling’s logo was unveiled on a STARS helicopter and will be represented on all STARS helicopters in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
“STARS air ambulance provides an extremely important service that touches the lives of many members of the community,” said Lyle Whitmarsh, Chief Executive Officer of Trinidad Drilling Ltd. “With employees working in distant locations throughout western Canada, their work is close to the hearts of us all at Trinidad Drilling. It is important to know that high quality medical care is available to our staff and to the general public, should it be needed. We have worked with STARS since 2005 and continue to value their program very highly.”
Trinidad Drilling has supported STARS in a variety of ways, including an annual customer appreciation golf tournament and donations toward the purchase of STARS’ new AW139 helicopters.
“The generous support from Trinidad Drilling helps STARS to continue responding to critically ill and injured patients,” said Andrea Robertson, president and CEO of STARS. “We appreciate their continued partnership and we are very pleased to display their logo on our helicopters.”
