January 8, 2013
Edmonton, AB, Jan. 8, 2013 – STARS air ambulance honoured North American Construction Group (NACG) today at the STARS Edmonton base for reaching $500,000 in cumulative giving to the non-profit, charitable organization. During a special presentation, the NACG logo was unveiled on the STARS helicopter and will be represented on all STARS helicopters in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
“As a company that is dedicated to ensuring that ‘everyone gets home safe’, North American Construction Group is proud to support STARS and all of their life-saving initiatives,” said Martin Ferron, president and CEO of NACG. “As one of Canada’s largest contractors, we work in a number of remote locations, and it’s reassuring to know that an organization like STARS is there to lend a helping hand in the most dire of circumstances.”
North American Construction Group began supporting STARS in 2000. Significant funding has gone toward STARS mission related operations, the purchase of two AW139 helicopters in Alberta and the Petroleum Services Association of Canada galas.
