Calgary, AB, June 22, 2011 – Precision Drilling achieved a cumulative giving milestone of $1.8 million today when they presented STARS with $1 million to be donated over the next five years. The organization is the first oil and gas service company to reach this level of giving to STARS. Precision Drilling's logo was relocated on the STARS helicopter from the upper tail fin to the cowling area, placing it alongside other logos from organizations that have also donated more than $1 million to STARS.

"For over two decades, Precision Drilling has been a proud supporter of STARS. We recognize the value that STARS brings to the health and safety of our employees, their families and the communities where we operate," said Kevin Neveu, President and CEO of Precision Drilling. "Safety and improving the quality of life where we live and work are high priorities for Precision Drilling, and STARS is a valued partner in our goal," Mr. Neveu added.

"We are proud to place Precision Drilling's logo prominently on our helicopters in recognition of their high level of support," said Dr. Greg Powell, STARS Chief Executive Officer. "This generous commitment will directly contribute to the care and transportation of critically injured and ill patients."

Mr. Neveu was in attendance at the STARS Calgary hanger to speak on behalf of Precision Drilling and to celebrate this tremendous long-term relationship which dates back to 1991. Several members of Precision's executive team also joined Mr. Neveu to participate in this event.
