Air Medical Crew – Registered Nurse, Saskatoon (0.3 FTE)

The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Operations Manager, and works with a team of highly skilled medical providers specializing in the care of critically ill and injured patients. The Registered Nurse works with a Registered Paramedic, supplemented with the presence of a Transport Physician either in person or on-line, to provide high quality care and service, which includes rapid response assessment, intervention, and safe transport of critically ill or injured patients of all ages from the scene of an accident or during inter-facility transfer. This service is provided (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week.
You have a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a critical care environment. You have a valid CPR certificate and you are currently registered as a Nurse in the Province of Saskatchewan. You have current STARS Advanced Skills Institute (ASI) certifications or equivalent certifications including ACLS, ITLS/TNATC, and PALS. Instructor status or graduate of the STARS Critical Care and Transport Medicine Academy is considered an asset to your career. Basic to intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office applications supplemented by your experience with databases are among your core competencies. You live in or are willing to relocate to Saskatoon.
