Motivated to dramatically change emergency care for communities across a vast landscape, he threw his passion into creating a helicopter air ambulance service – built and supported by the community.

Development Officer, Events – Alberta (Edmonton Base)
This position reports to the Manager, Events, Foundation, Alberta and is responsible for managing assigned events through the project lifecycle from project assignment to post-project evaluation, many running concurrently. Ensures assigned project objectives are achieved on deadline and on budget. Demonstrated experience, planning, evaluation, fundraising, budgeting, volunteer management, and marketing is required.
You have a minimum of three to five years of experience in event planning or fund development and are capable of establishing effective relationships with volunteers and donors. An organized relationship builder with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, you have event planning, MS Office, Raiser’s Edge or other relational database experience. Net Community experience is an asset. Your educational background includes an undergraduate degree in a related field such as Marketing, Special Events, or Public Relations. You are comfortable within a committee structure, willing to travel, and able to work evenings and weekends.
