Community Relations & Face to Face Coordinator - One year term

The Community Relations & Face to Face Coordinator is responsible for supporting the work of the STARS Foundation and Communications team. The Community Relations & Face to Face Coordinator will help build the STARS Face to Face Fundraising Initiatives and the STARS brand in Manitoba. Responsibilities are varied and include; representing STARS to community groups, plan events and community awareness activities, assist in coordinating and managing STARS Face to Face Fundraising programs in Manitoba.
When assessing your competencies for this role, you recognize your excellent public speaking skills with the ability to grab the audiences’ attention with your passion. Your ability to balance priorities and multiple projects is strength and your attention to detail is excellent. You have excellent collaborative and team building skills, particularly in soliciting and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
Your resume highlights three years of professional communications, public relations or marketing experience, as well as experience in building and maintaining long term stakeholder relationships. You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, nonprofit management, communications or other related field. Experience in a not-for-profit environment is considered an asset. This role will work out of the STARS Winnipeg base, requires flexibility and the willingness to work outside of regular business hours.
