Human Resources Generalist
Location: Winnipeg base

The HR Generalist, working out of our Winnipeg base primarily focuses on communication to internal stakeholders in regards to Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations, as well as providing resolution to employee concerns while supporting the day-to-day HR operations.
You are a recognized leader in support services with an above average compliment of leadership, coaching and recruitment skills. You have the ability to work independently and in a team setting. You have broad knowledge and expertise in the daily operation of Human Resources, with extensive experience in building relationships and with change management. You have exceptional organization skills, excellent communication skills with significant business acumen. You are a champion for employee engagement.
In your previous 7 or more years’ you have been a generalist in a fast paced environment. You have facilitated new hire orientations, and supported and participated in the full recruitment process. Intermediate Microsoft Office, recruitment concepts, and HR systems such as performance management are among your core competencies. Researching, developing and supporting Human Resources initiatives is an exciting and challenging part of your career path as is being an integral part of STARS culture.
You have Post Secondary Education in Human Resources or a related field. A Certified Human Resources Professional designation would be an asset.
